App center searches and updates not working

Lately whenever I open the App Center and search for an app or search for updates, I get a spinning circle arrow cursor that sits and does nothing for long periods of time. Rebooting does nothing to fix. Is there anything else I can try?eos-diagnostic-200422_112713_UTC-0400.txt (1.8 MB)

EDIT: It suddenly started working again, but now installing apps is stuck at 0% forever.

  1. Open the application called ‘Terminal’
  2. Copy and paste this command into the Terminal application:
killall gnome-software
flatpak update --appstream && flatpak update -y
flatpak uninstall --unused -y
eos-updater-ctl update
gnome-software

Are you sure it’s not just stuck there for a few minutes and then gets un-stuck? That is the issue currently being fixed and slated for release in EOS 3.8.1.
