App center wont update or install any apps

MY app center wont update or install anything , LITERALY anything, stuck at installing 0% help meeos-diagnostic-200201_190114_UTC 0100.txt (3.4 MB)

  1. Open the application called ‘Terminal’
  2. In this application run the command:
killall gnome-software
flatpak remote-delete winepak -y
flatpak update --appstream && flatpak update -y
gnome-software

Are you able to install software through the command line, with the flatpak command - just to make sure that your installation isn’t corrupted in some strange way.

Example for searching and installing the VLC Videoplayer:

Step 1: Search for the software you need

flatpak search VLC

Step 2: Install the application
remember the Application ID from Step 1, something like org.videolan.VLC

flatpak install -y -v org.videolan.VLC

after last update (to eos3) app center can`t update any app, showed error window “no remote found which provides these refs”.

Can you please provide us with a diagnostic by running

eos-diagnostics

Then upload the generated file here in this thread.

You have a few applications from your previous installation, which are no longer available. Uninstall them with:

flatpak uninstall -y com.endlessm.videonet
flatpak uninstall -y com.endlessm.weather
flatpak uninstall -y org.gnome.Freecell
flatpak uninstall -y org.gnome.Solitaire
