You need to use the Application Seahorse, which is a GUI for the GNOME Password store. There you can change the password for the Login Keyring:
If you have automatic login enabled, the keyring does not get unlocked at system startup. To prevent the authentication window from appearing, remove the passphrase.
Seahorse is available in the App Center and can be found as “Passwords” after installation.
