Creating a bootable USB using Endless OS

I bought an ASUS laptop with Endless OS pre-installed but I want to be able to install Windows 10 (with the option to boot Endless or Windows when I turn the laptop on) because there are many applications that Endless does not support. I know that I must create a bootable USB with the Windows ISO on it and then reboot the computer using the USB however, I do not know how to create this bootable USB. I’ve tried researching it but everything I have seen gives detailed instructions about how to do it from a Windows device or other Linux operating systems but please can someone help me with detailed, step-by-step instructions for how to set up the USB using Endless OS.

We are very sorry to hear that Endless OS did not fulfill your needs, unfortunately, the installation of other OS which is not Endless OS is out of our hands

Hi!

This might help: How do I install Endless OS alongside Windows?

Thank you but this only says how to get Endless if you already have Windows. I am trying to perform the opposite operation.

I do still want to use Endless because it does boot up very quickly and run quickly but just in general, how can I create partitions on a USB stick with Endless? Is there any app that I can download off the Endless app store that does this because I have seen how to do it with an Ubuntu OS but the app that the tutorial said to use isn’t on the Endless app store and I cannot seem to find an app that can create partitions on USB sticks.

Unfortunately, you have to have Windows first then install Endless. Sorry.

The Disks app can be used to manage partitions.

For anyone else who encounters this issue, the following link takes you to a full tutorial on how to do it on any Linux OS including Endless OS: https://itsfoss.com/bootable-windows-usb-linux/ and if you have issues with the Windows 10 file size being larger than 4GB which is too large for FAT32 files, you can download previous ISO versions from https://tb.rg-adguard.net/public.php Just keep checking which version is smaller than 4GB and then download it and if you want a later version just update from that version.
I am quite disappointed that no one from Endless helped with this because the process is actually quite easy.
