i am trying to open steam but everytime i try it won’t open and have to restart my pc plz help and i have endless os 3.6.1 and one other thing so why when i open apps every single thing i open turns in to a folder even optifine for minecraft

Please update your system to the latest version available. Open a Terminal, then type:

eos-updater-ctl update

This will fetch and install 3.9.6 (current as of writing). If it’s not updating, please run the following command and upload the generated diagnostic:

eos-diagnostics

its not letting me update it

  1. Open the application called ‘Terminal’
  2. In this application run the command:
flatpak update --appstream && flatpak update -y
sudo ostree admin upgrade
eos-updater-ctl update --force
flatpak run com.valvesoftware.Steam --reset
flatpak install com.valvesoftware.Steam.CompatibilityTool.Proton-GE -y
  1. Restart the computer
