I strongly recommend against using Winpak as it’s no longer actively maintained. There are, however, many alternative Ways of running Windows Applications on EOS:

  1. PlayOnLinux, which, despite it’s name also can run applications as it’s just a GUI frontend for different Wine versions - it’s available on the App Center
  2. Lutris (available on Flathub BETA currently, https://github.com/flathub/net.lutris.Lutris), which is similar to (1)
  3. My personal recommendation: Run a Ubuntu Container with Podman and the latest official Wine in there - see Running Ubuntu with Podman for further details on how to get it running
