Não reconhece rede wi-fi

Tenho um notebook da Acer e uso-o há um mês. Ele reconhecia a rede wifi normalmente, mas ontem ele simplesmente desconectou e não consegui mais ligar o wifi, nem ao menos aparece o ícone no canto inferior direito. Quando entre nas configurações, não aparece o ícone de desligar o desligar, aparece apenas no modo de avião. Gostaria de saber como posso resolver esse problema.

For some reason, the Wireless Card could not initialize successfully. Normally i would guess that a system update has something to do with it, but there was none between those two entries.

Can you please download a Ubuntu Live CD and check if the card works there. If not, it’s probably a hardware fault, if yes, please tell us for further analysis.

Eu reiniciei o computador e funcionou normalmente.

O meu PC tbm está dando o mesmo problema, chegou ontem Acer Aspire 5 e desconecta constantemente…

Can you please open a Terminal and execute:

echo -e "[connection]\nwifi.powersave = 0" | sudo tee /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/99-wifi-powersave-off.conf

Then, reboot and verify if the problem still persists.
