Network fail affecting Steam and other apps since updating OS

This is a super strange bug, thanks for your patience as we dig deeper…

Can you now run at the terminal:

strace /usr/libexec/flatpak-session-helper -r -v &>out2.txt

Wait 5 seconds, then press Ctrl+C to abort the command. Then upload out2.txt here.
This may break the launching of further Flatpak apps until you reboot.
