Ok, I just bought Acer laptop with Endless preinstalled and I wanted to change it for windows. So I have a bootable pendrive with Windows, I’m in Bios changing the sequence to boot the pendrive first, save n exit aaaand nothing happens it going straight back to Endless. I’m really pissed off ATM after 4h of trying to do this very simple operation and still nowhere near the end. How can I do this or maybe format disc will help?
Problem with booting usb
The BIOS is not under our control. It sounds like you have taken the right steps. Are you sure that your pendrive is bootable? Have you tried booting it on another machine? Maybe Acer or Microsoft would be able to help you install Windows on this machine.
You’re right, I’m sorry for jumping at u guys. I was really pissed off and was looking for someone to blame. I needed to dig deeper in BIOS and change few things but eventually it work out. I’m sorry again, it was not your fault. Cheers
