Samba install, using

Can samba be used with endless? Can’t get root to edit samba conf file. Can’t create samba user in terminal.

The Samba daemon is not included in Endless OS. You should be able to use the built-in file manager to browse Samba shares. You can use the Sharing page in the Settings app to enable File Sharing, which shares a folder on the local network using WebDAV.
