Should I change environment variables?

Installing apps from the command line displays the following:

"Note that ‘/sysroot/flatpak/exports/share’ is not in the search path
set by the XDG_DATA_HOME and XDG_DATA_DIRS
environment variables, so applications may not
be able to find it until you set them. The
directories currently searched are:

  • /root/.local/share"

Should I ignore this message?

Yes, please ignore this message. I’ll file a ticket to see if we can get rid of it, though this only happens because you’re installing apps as root (via pkexec).
