3D acceleration for Endless in VirtualBox

Hello,
in order to enable 3D acceleration in VirtualBox, the Guest additions need to be installed in the guest system. But the installation fails because the root filesystem is a read-only OSTree.

Is there any workaround for this? Thanks for making this great OS!

We do ship the VBox guest additions to enable functionality like copy/paste, however we do not include the graphics driver, because it resulted in nasty graphical glitches when we previously tried it.

Thanks Daniel. Yes on the other hand copy/paste between the host OS and the guest Endless OS does work. I will do a native installation then in order to get the full experience.
