I have been using Asus EEE PCs with Linux since 2008. I use the system for it’s portability, yet it is suitable for my home use also. It is slower than something new but the 2GB RAM limit is THE limiting hardware. From my viewpoint a system with at least 4GB RAM or ability to upgrade is mandatory. More is better.

@LeandroStanger: I think @cwhii’s request is related to the Endless Mini hardware itself, not to Endless OS running on top of it.
Please see also my suggestion for a Mission Mini “developer edition” that is similar in nature to what @cwhii suggested.
