Abrir .sh no Endless OS

Boa dia,

Sou professor e necessito abrir um livro digital que está em formato .sh com várias ferramentas. Eu baixei um arquivo .tar.gz, depois o descompactei e dentro há dois arquivos: exeLinux32.sh et exeLinux64.sh. Gostaria de saber se é possível abri-los no Endless OS e como proceder. A editora apenas disponibiliza o livro para Linux 32 bits ou 64 bits (.sh) e Windows (.exe).

It depends.

General procedure:

Make it executable

Open the context menu for the .sh file, then select “Properties” and set “Allow executing file as program”:

Allow execution in general

In the File Browser, open the Preferences, then make sure to check “Ask what to do” with “Executable Text Files”. This has only to be done once.

Run it

Now, simply double click the .sh file in question.
