Access SMB share without password

How can I access a windows share that is setup without a password. Endless keeps asking me to put in credentials. How can I do this?

How do you access the share? Normaly, if you just enter the URI in the Pathbox of Nautilus (the File Manager), it should work:

smb://user@nas/share

(Replace user, nas and share with the appropriate values for your environment)

Nautilus will then open a Dialog where you can enter the Workgroup and Password. Leave it blank should work without any problems. What OS is the Remote Server running? Windows, Mac or Linux with Samba?
