I think it is a shame that Endless currently ships Minetest. The full Java-based Minecraft obviously won’t run very well on hardware like this, but the Pocket/Win10 codebase will run perfectly. Mojang is a very open-minded company when it comes to projects like Endless, look at the Minecraft Raspberry Pi edition that they give away for free. If you present your vision to them, I am sure that they will create an Endless OS edition.
Ask Mojang to port the real Minecraft to Endless OS
