Atualização para aversão 5 (ou mais recente)

Prezadas(os),

Preciso de ajuda para atualizar a versão do endles. Adquiri o notebook Asus Vivobook em janeiro deste ano, primeira vez usando o endless, primeira vez usando o linux (e só quebrando a cabeça, não sou programador)

Sistema operacional / versão do firmware ou da BIOS: Endless OS

Possível alguém escrever algum tipo de tutorial, um passo a passo para a atualização do sistema.
ou indicar onde encontro.

  1. Abra o aplicativo chamado ‘Terminal’
  2. Neste aplicativo execute o comando:
flatpak update --appstream && flatpak update -y
eos-updater-ctl update -force

Aparentemente não atualizou a versão do endless, e aparece um monte de mensagem que alguma coisa está no fima de vida.

Can you please open Terminal and run:

eos-updater-ctl update --force

After this command has been completed, please generate a diagnostic by running:

eos-diagnostics

Upload the file generated by the above command to a reply in this thread for further analysis.

I’m not entirely sure on why your system does not update, there are no indications in the log which show up as a immediate problem.

Please open a Terminal and run the following commands:

wget -nv http://ostree.endlessm.com/keys/eos-ostree-keyring.gpg
sudo ostree remote gpg-import -k eos-ostree-keyring.gpg eos
sudo ostree pull --url=http://ostree.endlessm.com/ostree/eos eos
sudo ostree pull --url=http://ostree.endlessm.com/ostree/eos eos os/eos/amd64/eos3a
sudo ostree admin upgrade --deploy-only

These commands will force a upgrade to the latest version available, circumventing the regular update mechanism - and they can (depending on your internet connection) take a long time to complete as they download a whole bunch of data. They are taken from the corresponding support article in the knowledgebase in case you want to read about them:

Can you please run the following command in Terminal (copy/paste to prevent any typos):

sudo ostree remote add --no-gpg-verify --force --collection-id com.endlessm.Os eos https://ostree.endlessm.com/ostree/eos-amd64 os/eos/amd64/eos3a

Now, reboot your device and run in Terminal:

eos-updater-ctl update --force

Please report back if that worked out.

I’m sorry to say that i run out of ideas why your system does not update to the latest version available. Before putting more energy into this, i would recommend you do just back up everything needed and do a fresh install of the latest version from USB.
