Azerty numbers Caps Lock

I recently set up Endless OS on my girlfriend`s computer.
But there is an issue with the keyboard layout.

We use a belgian azerty keyboard and when we hit caps lock it should type the numbers above instead of making the lower ones capital.

I found out this is an Ubuntu issue and havce a solution here:

But I am not able to change the layout file:
/usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/be

Not even with root

Is there a way for me to fix this issue?

Something that would help us a lot to understand the problem would be this:

  1. Open the application called ‘Terminal’
  2. In this application run the command:

eos-diagnostics

  1. The above command will create a file with the information of your system (example: eos-diagnostic-160614_111731_UTC + 0100.txt); Send us this file so we can analyze and see a possible solution
