The first beta release of Endless OS 4.0.4 is out!
This release includes a couple of security fixes in the Linux kernel, an improvement that makes our update process a bit more robust (the same reason why we released 3.9.7 last week), and a fix to make sure any system configuration changes made after downloading an update but before rebooting into the new version are persistent. If you are not yet on following the beta channel on your Endless OS system, you can follow these instructions to set your machine on the beta channel. Beta testers are critical to catch bugs that may have slipped through during development before they hit the general public, especially when changes to our updater are made.
