Googling the messages found similar problems with Dell and HP PCs and the hint that a BIOS update might help. Unfortunately my BIOS is the latest BIOS acer delivered for this laptop and no updated BIOS will be available in the future.

Does anybody have an idea how I could get rid of the messages?
