I’ve been looking for quite some time to find an Endless-Basic .iso, which could be used to create a startable USB-stick by Etcher or RUFUS from the outside of Windows just as described on the website, and hence without a Windows installer.
Unlike that, though, all obtainable .iso’s are of the same type, i. e. always being equipped with a windows installer & an already created squash-file of the iso’s size, besides other files. Trying to put an .iso like that on my USB-stick, first of all RUFUS only is capable to work on grounds of MBR / BIOS, instead of GPT / UEFI, the stick being completely useless hence.
