Libdvdcss is missing from VLC. Is this a new change, or has it always been this way? And is there a way for me to install libdvdcss for commercial DVD playback?
Cannot play commercial DVDs
Could it have something to do with the specific DVD in question? Just tried with a few DVDs in my collection and they work with the latest VLC:
a quick look reveals that libdvdcss get’s built during the flatpak build, so if you’re unable to play some commercial DVDs, this is probably some kind of bug:
