Codec video on vlc

Good morning, I would like to know if it is possible to add video codecs hvec?

Hi, as VLC is provided as a Flatpak, only those Codecs added during buildtime are available. If there’s a major codec missing, i highly suggest you to open a feature request here:

I have endless os in a asus notebook with 3.4.2 endless os but the vlc installed with more apps not open nothing, i have more dvd and i have not codec

I would highly recommend you to update to the latest version of Endless available. Open a Terminal and type:

eos-updater-ctl update
sudo ostree admin upgrade
