Editar 40-libinput.conf

Preciso desativar o touchscreen e me parece que editando o arquivo /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf isto é possível.
No entanto, o arquivo abre somente para leitura e não consigo salvar as alterações.

Consegui desativar o touchscreen.

Editei o arquivo 40-libinput.conf na pasta etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/

Poxa, a desativação não foi permanente.
Quando liguei o computador novamente o touchscreen estava habilitado.

Alguém pode me ajudar?

If you want to override settings in this file, copy it to

/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf

and then make your desired changes there.
