Endless Dual Boot OS Install using ISO

I have downloaded the ISO file for endless install thinking I can use this to do an offline install of the OS. I used rufus to put it on a USB. However, when I got to see the install menu, dual boot is not there. I only have the option of USB Stick or Reformat Computer.

Is there a way to install endless OS dual boot with just the ISO file? Id hate to go to the download process.

Thanks for the link. I did see that before but unfortunately it does not
deal with the downloaded ISO file (unless I missed it).

I already have downloaded the ISO file but unfortunately I can’t seem to
find a way to use it with the installer so I can make a dual boot.

Any other ideas?

Are you familiar with dd comand (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/USB_flash_installation_media)?

If it’s about creating a bootable USB from the ISO, then yes. I stated in
my first post that I was able to create a live USB from the ISO. But
unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be an option for dual boot when using
the live USB. That seems to be the difference between the windows installer
and the live USB.

If you want to dual boot with Windows, you must use windows installer. Installer from live usb/dvd is for single boot.

Thank you for the replies everyone.

So just to answer my own question with what I got from everyone…

There is no way to use the ISO file along with the endless windows
installer. :frowning:

How about extracting the ISO file on windows and running the windows installer from it?

This is the correct answer at the moment. If you have Windows 8 or newer, you can just double-click the ISO to use it as a virtual drive, and run the installer which is inside the ISO. Otherwise, use a tool like 7-Zip to unpack all files in the ISO to a new folder, then run endless-installer.exe in that folder.

Excellent suggestion. ISO extract using winrar and just copy the installer
there. The option to use the extracted files are there.

Thanks a lot!
