First, Endless is addressing device access by making computers available through an affordable laptop program that brings the cost of a computer down to less than a dollar a day, a price that makes it accessible to millions more Americans. Second, Endless has built an ecosystem of apps and educational resources that work well whether you are online or offline. Endless believes the Internet is an essential gateway to the modern digital economy, however the current reality is that connectivity for many is not reliable, not affordable or simply not available at all. We must deliver practical solutions that enable access to key resources for a basic education, even for homes that aren’t connected to the internet.

This role is to build and lead our early sales efforts to find and develop new business partnerships across numerous channels and geographies for our laptop program. This person will be our first dedicated sales manager, who’s responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and refining sales strategy, business plan, and sales targets.
  • Lead generation and client segmentation: developing client target lists and systematic outreach strategies.
  • Managing the entire sales process:
    • Significant outreach and cold calling while leveraging CRM tools for organized management and forecasting.
    • Customer discovery and qualification.
    • Managing and hosting sales events with partners and end users.
    • Clearly communicating our vision and presenting the Endless program as a unique and innovative solution to bridging the digital divide for target communities.
    • Working with Endless’ program managers, engineers, and user experience teams to successfully develop and implement partner deployments.

Ideal characteristics:

  • Desire to work in a mission-led social impact organization and make a true impact on the world
  • Experience in commercial / sales / business development roles within technology-based enterprises
  • Experience in opening new client markets and channels
  • Strong communication skills, highly organized and ability to manage day-to-day sales activities
  • Keen work ethic - approaching hard problems with energy and drive
  • Bachelor’s-level degree in a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience
