with the update to EOS 3.9 today the terminal icon vanished from my desktop. Trying to recreate it with eos-add-to-desktop I was also not able to find this script. Where did both go?
Is this a bug or a new feature?

As Leandro already mentioned, the tool eos-add-to-desktop
has been removed. Now all applications currently installed are visible on the desktop, but on different “pages”. Use the mouse wheel while on the desktop to scroll to the other pages and drag around icons as you like.

sorry for the late feedback: thanks, it worked on the command line. There were some obscure error messages, but it worked.
