EOS-live doesn't boot completely on notebook Dell XPS15

I created a boot stick according to

When booting a notebook Dell XPS 15 (L501X) booting doesn’t finish. Only the nice picture with the mountain appears, but no cursor and no welcome screen. I tried several times using all USB ports.
The notebook has two integrated graphic cards.

I also tried the stick on various other machines I have (notebooks and a server) no problem to use the EOS-live running from the stick.
