I am having trouble with two things: the first problem is exiting an app, Sweet Home 3D. It never loaded properly, and I haven’t been able to find a way to shut it down. The second is that sometimes copy/paste does not react, and I have to hit the CTRL+C keys several times to register. Sometimes I also need to repeat right click - copy as well. Attached is the screenshot and the eos-diagnostic.
I can’t recognize the process; it doesn’t appear under a process name. Where can I find out the ID of the app? The app center is not showing me the installed apps, it constantly refreshes.
Hello, I launched the Sweet Home 3D app five minutes ago; it was still loading. I then tried to terminate the app by launching gnome-system-monitor, but I cannot determine which process I should terminate. I don’t recognize the name of this process. I currently have Firefox open, as well as WPS Writer, Presentation, and Spreadsheet open. I can recognize their process names, but there’s nothing currently recognizable for this app. Should I check the process properties for each app that seems like might be it?
OK, I found it; it’s the process called gnome-software, PID is 5212 - shouldn’t there be a more descriptive name so we can recognize it??
I clicked on end process, I was asked if I was sure I wanted to do it, I confirmed but the splash image is still on my desktop. So no, updating the OS did not solve the issue.
How can I remove this, it is not responding when I try to do it in the app center (splash screen is still there even though it’s apparently been removed from the desktop)?
Hi, I had to use Google translate for this - no, the application did not work at all, not even once = Привет, я должен был использовать Google переводчик для этого - нет, приложение не работало вообще, ни разу.
