The core extension eos-panel@endlessm.com which provides the Panel does not work anymore with a Wayland session after upgrading to 4.0.0~210314-230009
How to reproduce:
Set:
WaylandEnable=true
in /etc/gdm3/daemon.conf and select the Wayland session on the Login screen. With the classic Xorg session, it works as expected.
Did this occur as the absence of the lower bar?
We did have trouble here for a couple of days, but it affected X too, so I’m not sure if it is the same issue.
You could try again now that we applied a workaround in the latest ostree.
Yes, the lower panel was missing. Updated to 4.0.0~210317-230011 and switched back to Wayland, the issue has been resolved. Thanks
