Hello,
I am experiencing some strange strartup errors since upgrading to EOS 4. Sometimes the OS would refuse to start with “Failed to start Session c1 of user Debian-gdm”. After a hard shutdown and a trip to GRUB Endless boots without problem. The session fails once in something like 5-6 attempts.
And this is the diagnostics file:
eos-diagnostic-220123_173335_UTC 0200.txt (827.8 KB)
Anyone having the same issues?
its been almost 4 months with this issue
Well, I hope that this will get fixed in 4.0.3…
I doubt that they don’t do anything to help why cant they make a video guide or something

Wehn the issue happens, can you please press CTRL-ALT-F3 at the same time. This will get you a textual login window. Please login there and run:
eos-diagnostics
Now, reboot with the command:
reboot
As soon as you can get into a graphical environment, please upload the file generated with the first command here to this thread for further analysis.
/edit: Please note that if you are using a notebook, chances are that you need to press a Fn-Key in addition
