Files window sidebar

I’m using Endless 3.8.7. If I remember correctly, Ubermix offered a way to expand folders in the sidebar, or Navigation pane of the Files window. I see a way to expand the folders in the right side of the Files window, but not in the sidebar. Is there a way to accomplish this, or can we only view the top level folders in the sidebar? Thanks in advance.

That was possible a few years ago with older GNOME Files applications. The option to enable a tree view of the filesystem in the sidebar has been removed upstream some time ago.

You mean you would like to get plain GNOME instead of the custom EOS shell?
