Foliate - Text to Speech - how to install eSpeak

Nearly 50% of incarcerated students suffer from dyslexia - we are looking for an app that can be used for Text to Speech. Listening to audio of a book is good for student learning. I see that the App Foliate has an option for Text to Speech. Can you help on how to install that option.

I tried the upload and the text to speech did not work. Is there a way to have Festival or eSpeak working within Foliate?

I am on a newbie level when using Flatpak and the command line in EOS. I used Ubuntu to problem solve this software issue. The good news is that the Text to Speech combination works best with the Festival ! ALSO - It works offline - which is great for the students without the internet.

I downloaded the TTS Festival Software for use with Foliate eReader.

Once you download Festival - You go in the settings of Foliate and set the TTS to Festival.

It would be great if the Endless OS Flatpak could be packaged with the combination of the eReader “Foliate” and the “Festival” TTS Software. Good for the entry level user. Users would have it ready to go.

It would be great to have a Text to Speech TTS choice and Ereader Combo for Endless OS users. Any assistance on this recommendation would be appreciated.
