I plan to upgrade the software that runs this forum early next week. This is a major upgrade. If all goes to plan, the forum will be inaccessible for a few hours; if something goes wrong then it might be out of service for longer!
I will place the forum into read-only mode before starting the upgrade, and re-enable posting once the upgrade is complete.
