GIMP Image Manipulation Program - Specific crop images

Hi,

I want to crop images to the same size. I started using Gimp manipulation program.
Open image, then select the Crop tool. Make a selection on the image, then I can fill in the size for the crop tool: Set it to 1200 and 500.
I see the selection adjusting. Press enter and now it’s cropped.
Only then I see that the image always has different size… Then it’s 1150x465, then it’s 987x 558…
You get the idea…
It never crops exact to the size I put in.

Anyone can help me out here?

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks.

Strange though when you type the exact measurements en press enter it takes other measurements in the end.

I’ve done it this way now: take crop, drag the square how big you want to make it, look at the measurements and stop when it’s right  press enter and there you have the right size.
