GNote Syncing with Google Drive is not working

Hola! I’ve been trying to setup synchronization of GNote with Google Drive and it is not working. Here what I do:

1. I open Gnote
2. Click on Preferences
3. Go to Synchronization
4. Choose “Online Folder” on the “Service:” section
5. I paste a URI on the “Folder URI” section following the format:
   google-drive://user@gmail.com/folder.name
6. Click the “Save” button

After step 6, I receive the following error message:

Would you please help understand how to solve this?
