Greenfoot does not open

Hello Community,
I am running Endless OS 6.0.1 on an HP Laptop and have installed Greenfoot from the App-Center. But when I click on the icon, Greenfoot does not open. Instead, only the empty desktop screen appears. This does not happen with BlueJ or Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA, so I am assuming Java is not the issue here, but I have no idea where to look for a solution.
Any ideas?

Right now you have two options:

  1. Wait for the app maintainer to click “merge” on the second link
  2. If you need to use Greenfoot, install the test build from that second link by running a command in a Terminal window:

Build 134193 successful
To test this build, install it from the testing repository:

flatpak install --user https://dl.flathub.org/build-repo/117201/org.greenfoot.Greenfoot.flatpakref

Bear in mind that the test build will not receive updates.

The fix has been merged. In 3-4 hours you should see an update for Greenfoot in the App Center. You should uninstall the test build if you had previously installed it.
