Help Needed for Windows 10 and Endless OS Dual Booting

Hello Everyone :hugs:,

Although I’ve only recently discovered Endless OS, I’m already quite impressed with its functionality and interface. But I’m having trouble, and I’m hoping someone here can assist me.

My laptop is now running Windows 10, however I would like to run a dual-boot Endless OS alongside it. I’ve attempted to follow the instructions and read some material, but I keep encountering a couple problems that I’m not sure how to fix.

Partitioning: I’m trying to figure out how to split my hard disc correctly for Boundless OS without harming my Windows installation that is now installed. Could you please advise me on the amount of space I should set up for Boundless OS and if there are any particular settings I must become aware of?

Bootloader: Though Endless OS supposedly has its own bootloader, I’m concerned about how that will work with Windows’ bootloader. Has anyone run into any problems with this, or if so, what were the solutions?

Installation Procedure: I observed that the installer did not provide me with the choice to choose the Endless OS partition during the installation procedure. Is this typical? How can I be sure that Endless OS is being installed on the right partition without erasing my Windows data?

Post-Installation Advice: Are there any particular adjustments or changes I should make after setting up dual boot to make sure the two operating systems function properly?

Any in-depth recommendations, guidelines, or links that you could offer would be very helpful. I’m eager to install Endless OS alongside Windows, but I also want to be sure I do it correctly.

Thank you  in advance.
