How to install ''eosinstaller-eos3.......base.img.xz" images from http://torrents.endlessm.com/torrents/

I downloaded https://torrents.endlessm.com/torrents/eosinstaller-amd64-amd64-base-3.3.5-full.torrent but I couldn’t find out how to install it. I write it in USB by Gnome Disks. It boots but after welcome screen it says “Oops, something is wrong with your Endless OS file. No suitable images were found.”

I have tried the previous “eosinstaller-eos…” images before and all are the same history. Others images like ‘basic’ or ‘full’ are fine, which could be installed and used as live. I wonder what is the problem with these specific “eosinstaller-eos3…-amd64-amd64…-…base.img” images.

I prefer this image because of its smaller size which is around 700MB or less. It is convenient for me to download in shorter time. Besides, I wonder to know what is the purpose of this “eosinstaller…” image.

Thank you,
Sowrajit

@LeandroStanger Windows is not involved here.

@sowrajit the eosinstaller image is not usable on its own. The reason it is smaller is that it doesn’t actually contain the OS! It is only usable in conjunction with another (larger) disk image, and when written to disk with a special tool.

You should download an .iso image (torrent links on our website) and write that to USB using GNOME Disks. https://support.endlessm.com/hc/en-us/articles/210654503-How-do-I-create-an-Endless-USB-stick-from-Linux-
