How to update EOS version using terminal?

Use the command:

flatpak update --appstream && flatpak update -y
eos-updater-ctl update

it did not work because whenever l run a command on the terminal, results im getting is that its a “read only system”.

i am also failing to open other applications and the app center is saying no application data found

Click

Click Repair Filesystem…
