HP Laserjet Pro MFP M26nw Scanner

Hello,
I have connected the device in object and I am able to print with it without any issue, but I cannot use the built in scanner, if I try with Simplescan, it says “no scanner connected”.

Reading around on the web, it looks like I would need updated HPLIP drivers, but I can’t install from external sources on EOS…

Is there anything I can do about it, or I’ll just have to wait for Endless to update the drivers provided?

I’ll see if we can update those drivers for you in our next point release. There are theoretical ways to update the driver on your system but it’s easier/more reliable if we do it.
