I’ve created the installer USB twice, each time with no errors, but the installation fails each time on two different computers with the message “Error de verification de Imagen.” I don’t know how to capture the installer log file. Is there a checksum that I can verify the image against? Is there another source for the Portuguese Spanish version of Endless, preferably a direct download?
Thanks for not helping again. Anyone else?
I have found this worth a read. At one point there is a video on a crash that resulted in eOS installation crashing, maybe it will help. Hope it does
On the “Try or Reformat” page, pick Try. Then run the reformatter from the desktop. After it fails, follow these instructions to get a debug log. How do I make a debug log of Endless OS? | Support & Training | Endless OS Foundation
The images have a corresponding GPG signature. This is what the reformatter is checking. The instructions for how to verify this signature are here: Where can I download the Endless OS ISO image files directly? | Support & Training | Endless OS Foundation
Direct download links are also on that page.
Assuming you are creating the USB stick using our Windows tool – which verifies the signature before writing to the USB stick – this sounds like a dodgy USB stick to me. Have you tried using a different USB stick, or running a bad blocks check on the USB stick?
Actually, I’m creating the USB from the ISO torrent on another Endless machine. I tried another USB stick and it failed as well, so I’m guessing that my ISO is corrupt.
