If you install the TLP battery by default in the set up and installing of the operating system this would help with the battery consumption problem that most Linux distros have. I am currently running Endless OS on an Asus VivoBook 5 Intel i5 processor and the only issues is the battery consumption. If you could give the ability to install TLP it would definitely help.
