Matlab autocad maya and other cool softwares are unavailable

@smit neither MATLAB nor Adobe Reader are open-source. Maybe you meant “cool closed source software”?

  • MATLAB: it’s been a while since I installed it, but I’m pretty sure it just installs to /usr/local, so if you buy a copy it’d probably work. You might be interested in GNU Octave as discussed in this thread https://community.endlessos.com/t/add-statistics-software/1419/8 but it’s not yet available as a Flatpak.
  • AutoCAD: there’s no Linux version of this according to Wikipedia, so you’d have to speak to Autodesk about a version for Endless OS. I’m not sure about good open-source CAD software for Linux.
  • Maya: based on this document you might be able to install it to /usr/local if you have a license. Perhaps Blender would work for you as an alternative. It’s available as a flatpak so can be installed on Endless OS.
  • Adobe Reader: we include a PDF reader in the OS. Adobe don’t seem to publish the Linux version of Acrobat any more.
