Mono 5.20 Needed but Can't Install

I recently got invited to help make a mod for Terraria, to enable Developer Mode in Terraria, you need Mono 5.20. The Flatpak/Flathub install does not work for what I’m doing and Mono is an essential for developing Terraria mods. Any help to install Mono 5.20?

Within this container you can install and run any software available in Ubuntu, including Mono.
