Something that would help us a lot to understand the problem would be this:
- Open the application called ‘Terminal’
- In this application run the command:
eos-diagnostics
- The above command will create a file with the information of your system (example: eos-diagnostic-160614_111731_UTC + 0100.txt); Send us this file so we can analyze and see a possible solution
dr@endless:~$ eos-diagnostics
Endless OS Diagnostics file saved as:
/sysroot/home/dr/eos-diagnostic-200503_155649_UTC+0200.txt
Please send that file (not this message!) to the Endless Community or Support.

PRETTY_NAME=“Endless 3.3.20”

Please let us know if by updating the OS you were able to solve the issue.
First of all welcome to the Endless community,
please first upgrade to 3.8.0 as Leandro already posted, either with the graphical interface, or with the following command:
eos-updater-ctl update --force
Next, to play Audio and Video Files i highly recommend you to install VLC as the Player of your choice (available in the AppCenter) as it’s the most versatile video player out there and plays almost any format.
Can you please:
- Open a Terminal and type:
journalctl -f -u eos-updater
- Open another Terminal and type:
eos-updater-ctl update --force
- Copy the lines from the Terminal opened at (1) here in this Thread for further analysis.
what would i do ,did not work
- Open the application called ‘Terminal’
- In this application run the command:
sudo ostree admin upgrade
@Dr_Areeg_Samir did this work?
