Intel / Lenovo seems to be shipping laptops with a new type of camera for a while, which has had some problems with other distributions, requiring a special driver. Since adding such things to an image based/immutable system, is this something that you might be including, perhaps for the 6.x release?
Newer MiPi / IPU6 cameras?
It’s not currently planned and won’t be in EOS 6.0. We are keeping our eyes on the work being done to make this hardware work without special drivers and will look to integrate that solution when it becomes available. https://hansdegoede.livejournal.com/27909.html
