No browser plays video

There is a new behaviour with chrome where flash needs to be enabled on any site first before it works.

Click on the lock icon or “i” icon before the url and click on website settings. There search for flash and change it to allow on this page. Then refresh the page.

Not recommended method but posting for convience
Or you can put chrome://settings/content in the url bar and press enter. Search flash and change it to always allow. Restart the browser.

Btw flash will be discontinued in 2020. Better switch to websites that don’t rely on ancient technology.

Does not help. Websites that support html5 also do not play video
