Num lock doesn't work

I have an Asus X507MA laptop, came with Endless OS preinstalled, currently running Linux 4.18.0-10-generic #11+dev679.c272dc7beos3.5.2 SMP Thu Oct 25 08:49:35 UTC 2018 x86_64 GNU/Linux according to uname -a.

Problem: Num Lock does not work. The LED doesn’t light up, and the numpad cannot be used as numeric keys. Very annoying. How to fix it?

Something that would help us a lot to understand the problem would be this:

  1. Open the application called ‘Terminal’
  2. In this application run the command:

eos-diagnostics

  1. The above command will create a file with the information of your system (example: eos-diagnostic-160614_111731_UTC + 0100.txt); Send us this file so we can analyze and see a possible solution

Where will the txt file be created? Current directory of the terminal?

The terminal will inform you where the diagnosis has been saved
