Here’s what’s new in version 3.3.15

(Released: March 26, 2018)

• Enabled zram by default. This was an important fix to help with low memory. Now, the unused memory is compressed, giving you 2 - 2.5 x more usable memory in some cases. This should improve stability significantly on 1 - 2 GB machines, and even on systems with more memory. We have also disabled traditional swap (where unused memory is saved to disk), because of its negative impact on system usability.

The Chromium browser now frees up the memory used by other tabs much more effectively when you’re running very low on memory.
